Back in Santiago, Chile, for a night

Landed at Santiago and located my luggage. This is tough part...like at the beginning here the communication and complete lack of organization is absurd. Our group has to wait for bus to take us to Mandarin Oriental hotel. Walking behind the "Loud" family to which I have referred a few times. Well they are still talking. The daughters haven't stopped talking loudly since we got on the ship! They must exhausted...or at least their parents must be!

Somewhere in the middle of Antarctic Sound...hitting the gas to avoid possible nasty weather on the way back through the Drake Passage. Panna cotta Technically not onboard yet....meal on chartered flight from Santiago to Puerto Williams. A Chilean stew. It wasn't bad but definitely differen...

Drake Passage, Point Wild, and beyond

Good morning my friends! Finally escaped my room and gout thanks to bringing my meds and a big steroid shot in the a$$ from ship's doc. I didn't take pics of that. Latte in the Panorama Lounge. Seas are a bit rougher and colder but not bad. Elephant Island One of our daily lectures about what we saw and the plan for the following day What we have to wear when going on land.
